I cannot buy the sham, but you can buy the novel that starts in 1941 just before U.S. entered the war after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Don Lamoureux: In this photo taken, Tuesday, May 5, 2015, Don Lamoureux displays a World War II era pillow sham at a senior center in Millville, Mass., which his son purchased from an online auction site. Dominic O’Gara had mailed the elaborate pillow sham from his U.S. Army base in California to his mother in Millville in 1942. The Lamoureux's tried to find the soldier’s relatives to give it to them, but were unable to find any. The plan now is to put the sham on display in the town’s senior center, just yards from the house where the O’Gara family once lived.
